Answer:The SoundLink Around-Ear II is an improved version of the original model. The Bluetooth is integrated internally in the headphones as opposed to using a detachable dongle. The series II upgrades the Bluetooth version to 4.1 which offers compatibility with more types of devices. Additionally, the battery in the series II offers about 15 hours of power (at an average listening volume) instead of the 7 hours of the previous version.Question:What material is the headphones' ear cups made from? Answer:The Bluetooth range of the SoundLink Around-Ear Series II headphones is 33 feet from the connected device.Question:How good is the noise cancelation on these?
Answer:The around the ear and solid back design makes them pretty good at mechanically blocking all but the loudest external noises. I also find that noise cancelling on the microphone function works well, allowing me to make clear calls over my cell phone. Overall they compare favorably, both in terms of sound quality and noise cancelling, with a pair of Sony MDR-NC8 I own.Question:I was thinking about using these for watching netflix on a win 10 pc. would these work well for that?
Answer:As long as your Windows 10 PC has bluetooth, then yes. If not then you'll have to purchase a USB Bluetooth dongle to get that to work. Either way yes. :)Question:Would these block out the sounds of your boyfriends snoring?
Answer:If not blocked with the noise canceling, get a recording of white noise or a fan and play it at the same time. Between the blocking and the sound of the relaxing white noise, i think it would work.

These headphones allow you to connect to more than one device at a time and switch back for forth between them. To my ear, these produce very a clean sound with plenty of bass (for me, anyway) and a bit of crispness that pleases me. Clearly we do not all have the same taste in music and I am not a hip hop fan. I listen to jazz, classical, Motown, Blues and some classic rock. To my taste, these are the best sounding Bluetooth headphones I've ever experienced. There are many complaints about the material holding up over time and I cannot speak to that... yet. Right out of the box and on my head... awesome. Also, I have used them for phone calls and the noise cancelation is really good. I called my wife from my office with jazz music playing in the background, a fan about 18 inches away and an air conditioner running and she was not conscious of any background sound until I asked her. She could barely discern a background hum which, by process of elimination, was determined to be the A/C unit. Fan made no impact at all and music seemed to fade in and out and was completely not an issue. My voice was clear with all three background sounds in my environment and the sounds were very faint and not distracting or even noticed until asked. With a 15-hour charge, this will see me through even very long flights and there is a wire which works beautifully when the battery does go out. Delivers equal quality sound, to my ear. Okay, the case is very nice too.

Super good quality! Love them and the battery lasts forever. I've used them literally all day and they still have battery at the end.

The detail and accuracy of this headset is much better. It gives solid bass reproduction without being mushy or exaggerated, and the mid to high frequencies sound like they should. It syncs up to my PC or phone easily when powered up and the controls are logical. Each side is labled either R or L inside the cushion so they can be easily identified without squinting. Comfort is all I could ask for and they deaden outside noise well enough but there is no active sound cancellation. There's a mic that I haven't used yet but have read that it works well if there's no wind. Fine with me as I don't expect to be using them outside much but may use it indoor for Skype.

I’ve only had these headphones for about 3 weeks and they work great. I’ve got noise cancelling headphones for firearms target shooting so I know what real sound cancellation is. But the over the ear part is very comfortable and fairly quiet. The sound quality isn’t perfect so I only gave it 4 stars but it’s pretty darn good. I like the case it comes with and it also hold two little cords for recharging and for audio devices. I can plug mine into a mini amp that plugs into my guitar. I can use the Bluetooth to bring in my music from iPhone. It’s all lots of fun and the option for listening to music while I’m puttering around the house or just laying back chilling. Nothing but happiness so far!

Awesome headphone, stylish and pure sound. Eventhough it is not a noise cancelling model, the cushions fit well enough around the ears to work like a noise cancelling one. Was really good outdoors, I use it for running and while at home. Ideal for wearing it a long time, does not cause any irritation to ears even after hours of use.

This is my third pair of Bose headphones and these do not disappoint. I even considered getting Beats by Dr. Dre but after reading the professional product reviews, Bose is still the most highly recommended headphones. So, I purchased this pair and am completely satisfied that not only did I get excellent value for my money (These are actually cheaper than lower quality headphones ie Beats) but the sound quality is true Bose. As well, these are very attractive headphones. It pairs easily with my iPhone and Macbook Air. No batteries need to be replaced as the headphones are rechargeable and recharging time is quick. The headphones are easy to operate, from adjusting the volume, to answering calls.

Great headphones. No need for noise cancelling; they muffle outside noise quite well. It fits over the ear comfortably and the sound quality is great. There is a cushion at the top that also helps prevent headaches from pressure at the top. They do get quite sweaty so I don't recommend these for gym.
